Kanye West News Update - September 28th

There are hundreds of reports flying around the internet that talk of Kanye West going to rehab for his drinking habit.  Though nothing has been confirmed by Kanye West himself we can bet he will probably ignore it or announce it soon.  This is all on the heels of his big MTV VMA fiasco with Taylor Swift.  (Click here to read the article) 

Another article talks of the same issue (click here to read) but does state that if his drinking is the result of his mothers' death we shouldn't criticize Kanye West.  Everyone deals with death in different ways and neither one of them is better than the others.  Pain from death takes a long time to heal however Hennessey probably isn't the safest form of therapy but probably the most convenient for Kanye West.  

Kanye West made an appearance recently at 'Common & Friends' a benefit for charity in L.A.  Click here to read the review of the show.  Common stated “He’s still going through some things, trying to deal with everything that’s happened because of a choice he made, so he couldn't make it tonight....But he still wanted me to send his love to everyone.”  After that Kanye West bounded on stage singing "Good Life" while his girlfriend danced offstage.  Also, check out the video that somebody caught of the event.  (Click here for the video)  It is good to see that Kanye West is still enjoying performing but we will have to wait and see if he really does go to rehab!

Kanye West News Update - September 17th

I am sure many of you have heard of Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs this past Sunday.  Kanye West even blogged an apology before the VMAs were finished from his home.  Read about it at latimes.com.  According to the article this is not the first time Kanye West has interrupted an awards show.  The article states that back in 2006 Kanye West interrupted the MTV Europe Music Awards because he didn't win.

The recent actions by Kanye West have even caused the President to call him a 'jackass'.  Watch the video at the examiner.com. 

Rollingstone.com posted an article that talks about Kanye West speaking to Jay Leno about interrupting Taylor Swift.  (Click here to read the article)  The article states Kanye "knew his stunt had gone awry 'As soon as I gave the mic back to her and she didn’t keep going.'"  I know the feeling when you really have something to say but cannot wait until others are done speaking.  I don't think what Kanye West did was professional by any means, however, he merely expressed his opinion in the wrong arena at the wrong time. 

It doesn't appear that the buzz of the 'Interrupting Kanye West' will simmer down this week at least.  Even Alicia Keys spoke of it in a recent Today show interview.  Read about it at MTV.com.  MTV.com also posted an article speaking about 'bad behavior' at the VMA's clearly Kanye West is not the only one that has used the nationally televised awards show to express themselves.  Read about the VMA 'bad behavior' and watch the report at MTV.com.

Kanye West News Update - August 31st

Kanye West's girlfriend Amber in Las Vegas hosting a pool party and talking about her relationship with Kanye West.  Click here to read the article.  She is also spotted at the pool party in Vegas in a barely there bikini, so what's new?  Amber rose is not shy about her body nor has the former stripper been one to keep things covered.  See the picture here. 

The Miami Herald recently spoke with Jamie Foxx about being a triple threat.  Read the article at miamiherald.com.  If it wasn't for Kanye West there would not be a Jamie Foxx musician.  Foxx speaks about how Kanye West approached him and stated that Kanye "had a song for Mr. Foxx."  We know the rest, a #1 song and other chart toppers to follow.

Really DOE debut release to feature Kanye West.  As many of you know Really DOE was featured on two of Kanye West's albums in the past.  Read about it here.  Kanye keeps kickin' out the tunes and finds time to help a fellow music maker.

To see behind the scenes footage of the newest video, "Whatever You Want" featuring Kanye West and John Legend check out xclusiveszone.net.  The video is being shot in the same hotel as the movie Scarface was.  I wonder if there is going to be some similar scenes  I guess we will have to wait until the video is finished.

Kanye West News Update - August 22nd

Quite a few people are reporting that Kanye West was seen in NYC with his girl, Amber Rose.  At perezhilton.com there is a photo of Kanye West getting a little upset with the paparazzi.  Click here to see it.  Like Perez states it comes with the job.  However, it has to be really annoying to be followed around.  There are more photos of Kanye West and Amber strolling through NY at socialitelife.celebuzz.com 

Kanye West and Amber were also photographed in Miami recently.  (click here for pictures)  I have to say Kanye's girlfriend is not afraid to wear a g-string swimsuit.  Can you imagine getting a sunburn wearing a suit like that.

In other news, check out this Jay-Z video with Kanye West and Rhianna, "Run This Town".  Click here for the video at mtvu.com.  Quite a bit of blogging buzz about the video, but it is all worth it.  Nice move Kanye West.  Also, according to ABCnews.com Kanye West is helping Jay-Z in the #3 spot on the Billboards Hot 100 singles chart with the single, "Run This Town".  Read about it at ABCnews.com. 

In other video news, Kanye West also appears in Jamie Foxx's new video.  (click here for video)  Drake and The Dream also appear in "Digital Girl (Remix)" video.  Man this one is hot!
